Your child is my priority

Here at Rose House, I have a strong understanding of children’s lives and their social contexts, basing my teaching around them.
Supporting and encouraging personality development, autonomy and creativity are top priorities for me. Developing social interaction and understanding differences in others also plays an important role in our days.
I approach each child as an individual and am mindful of their particular needs, likes and dislikes when planning our activities and learning opportunities.
Each child has an EYFS progress folder which contains observations, planning, next developmental steps, photographs and art work which acts as a lovely momento for you to keep once your child has left my care.
I complete a daily diary which details nappy changes, meal times and a small piece about the fun things we got up to that day. It also works as another medium for communication between us all.
Rose House has its own secure Lifecake account where you can log in at any time to see what we have been up to over the week.

I actively encourage communication between myself and parents at all times and provide many opportunities for you to be involved in our days.
